How to apply for PR
Hello, I have MBA (honors) in Human Resources from India and my husband has an Engineering degree. We both live and work in United States. My husband has more than 10 years of work experience in United States and overall almost 15 years of work experience. I have 6 years of work experience. My IELTS score is 7, he hasn’t appeared for IELTS yet. Can you please explain the process and chances of getting a Canadian PR. Thanks and Regards! Anjali

As I can see your score is not good enough for the Express Entry pool. We need to check your PNP score.
Please share you and your husband’s – Age, overall experience details, IELTS CLB LVL, and highest educational (make sure done with ECA ).
*if you have any relatives in any province do mention or education done earlier from Canada.
Thank you for responding. I am 29 and my husband is 38 years old. He has 15 years of work experience and I have 5 years of experience but our work experiences are in India and United States. We don’t have any formal education from Canada and we don’t have any relatives in Canada either. My husband hasn’t appeared for IELTS yet. Our educational degrees are verified through ECA. I have Canada Equivalent Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and he has Canada Equivalent Bachelors in Engineering.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!
Anjali
Hi Again,
I just realized that in my last reply I didn’t include my IELTS score- my score are as follows:
overall – 7.0
listening – 7.5
reading – 6
writing – 6.5
speaking – 7.0
I took test in 2019 November, so these scores are still valid.
Thanks!

If I consider you as a primary candidate chances are low because of your IELTS score and Exp. In that case, you need a job offer to increase your score.
Your husband if he can score well in IELTS still there are two issues his age and degree.
Better take a consultation with our RCIC and discuss further.
